🕹️How to Play

1. 1Use Arrow Keys or WASD to slide all tiles in one direction.

2048 was created by Italian developer Gabriele Cirulli in March 2014 as a weekend project and released as open source. It went viral almost immediately, racking up millions of plays within days. The game is mathematically challenging — reaching 2048 requires a minimum of 938 moves in a perfect game. Many players become obsessed with pushing their score beyond 2048 to 4096, 8192, and beyond.
