Puzzle Games

Puzzle games give you time to think, and then hold you to what you decided. There is rarely a clock forcing your hand; the challenge is seeing the consequence of a move before you make it. That makes puzzles a broad category, and the collection on PapoGames is easiest to navigate by the kind of thinking each game asks for.

Number and logic puzzles are about deduction. Sudoku has you place the digits 1 to 9 so that no row, column or box repeats; Hashi Bridges asks you to connect numbered islands with the right number of bridges and no crossings; Deep Six recasts Minesweeper as a sonar sweep in which every number is a clue. Number Match and 2048 are lighter — matching and merging tiles — but they still punish careless moves.

Planning puzzles are about sequence.
