What are the rules of CalcRush?
- –Easy uses addition and subtraction with numbers up to 20.
- –Medium adds multiplication (factors 2 to 10) and numbers up to 50.
- –Hard uses all four operations: numbers up to 99, factors up to 13, and division that always comes out to a whole number.
- –Each correct answer is worth 10 points × your multiplier: ×2 from a streak of 3, ×3 from 6, ×4 from 10.
- –A wrong answer resets the streak to zero. Subtraction never produces a negative answer.
What are the best tips for winning at CalcRush?
- –Accuracy first: one mistake costs your whole multiplier, which is worth more than a second saved.
- –Get to a streak of 10 early — every answer after that is worth 40 points instead of 10.
- –For subtraction, count up from the smaller number to the larger one.
- –Multiply by 9 as ×10 minus the number: 9 × 7 = 70 − 7 = 63.
- –For division on Hard, ask "what times the divisor gives this?" — the answer is always between 2 and 11.
What is CalcRush?
CalcRush is a mental arithmetic sprint built around one clear question: how many problems can you solve correctly before the time runs out? In the default Timed mode you have exactly 60 seconds. Each correct answer is worth 10 points, multiplied by your current streak — reach three correct answers in a row and every answer is worth double, six in a row triples it, and ten in a row quadruples it. One wrong answer drops the multiplier back to ×1, so accuracy matters as much as speed. Survival mode removes the clock entirely and replaces it with a single rule: the first wrong answer ends the run. The three difficulty levels change the problems themselves rather than the timer. Easy sticks to addition and subtraction up to 20, Medium brings in the multiplication tables and larger sums, and Hard mixes all four operations with numbers up to 99 and division problems that always divide evenly. At the end of a run you see your score, how many problems you got right and wrong, and your fastest single answer, and your best score is saved in your browser.
