What you can play on PapoGames

Pick a game by how much time you have

Some games end on their own: Fruit Slash has a 60-second Arcade mode, Tunnel Rush a 60-second Time Attack, and a Penalty Kings match is settled in five kicks each. Others are built from short levels you can stop between — Neon Glide has 36 tracks, Count Control Legends 24 levels and Lumen Path 20 mazes. And some reward a longer sit-down: Astral Chess, Sudoku with four difficulty levels, Hashi Bridges, and the Solitaire Collection with five variants.

A daily puzzle, the same for everyone

In LetterGrid, WordTrap, GeoScout, Solitaire Collection and Neon Glide, everyone gets the same daily puzzle on the same day, so you can compare results with friends. Number Match, Hashi Bridges and Deep Six, our take on Minesweeper, have a Daily Challenge too.

Playing with someone else

Eight games can be played by two people on one device: Astral Chess, Checkers Crown, Domino Duel, Neon Pong, Stickman Fighter and three versions of tic-tac-toe — XO Battle, XO Cube and Ultimate XO. Each of them also has a computer opponent for when you are on your own.

Your progress stays on your device

There are no accounts. High scores, stars, unlocked levels and settings are saved in your browser’s local storage on the device you play on. Game progress is not uploaded anywhere, which also means it does not follow you to another phone or computer, and clearing your browser data resets it.

Who makes these games

PapoGames is built by one independent developer. Some games are classic formats rebuilt from scratch — chess, sudoku, solitaire, snake — and others are our own designs, such as Sniper Ops, a deduction game in which a dossier describes exactly one person in a crowded street, or Ink Rally, where you draw the road your car will drive. Every game page explains the rules and controls, and the About page says more about how the site is made.

Common questions

Is everything free?+
Yes. Every game is free to play, and there are no purchases or paid unlocks.
Do I need to install anything or create an account?+
No. Games run in the page in any up-to-date browser, and there is no sign-up.
Where are my high scores saved?+
In your browser’s local storage, on the device you played on. They stay there until you clear your browser data, and they do not sync between devices.
Can I play on a phone?+
Yes. Games are designed for touch screens as well as for keyboard and mouse.
Can I play fullscreen?+
Yes, on browsers that allow it: the game area has a fullscreen button in its top corner.
How do I report a bug or suggest a game?+
Use the contact page. A bug report is most useful when it names the game, your device and browser, and what happened.
